Our baskets come with loops on the back so they are ready to hang! Woven from wild grasses, this beautiful basket is made by the Tonga people in the northern Zimbabwe region of Binga. They were originally used for winnowing grains, but have been quite popular for home decor. Each has a loop on the back for hanging and is the perfect addition for a wall collage or as a solo art piece.

Amsha works directly with artisans to produce handmade goods in order to create a lasting and positive impact. We use locally sourced and recycled materials in order to reduce our carbon footprint and to ensure that our social impact extends to our supply chain.
When you purchase an Amsha good, our artisans earn 2- 3 times as much as they would in their local market. We support a living wage and benefits that go beyond fair trade.
