This sisal, woven trivet is handmade by our artisans in Gitarama, Rwanda in East Africa. The women use sisal plants, extract the fibers, then hand-dye and weave them into these beautiful works of art. Each sisal trivet comes with a string attached to the back so that you can hang it on the wall. In addition to being a trivet for warm foods, it can also be beautifully hung. You can combine them with other baskets or works of art to make a wall collage.
Colors: Tans, White
Diameter: ~9.5"
Amsha works directly with artisans to produce handmade goods in order to create a lasting and positive impact. We use locally sourced and recycled materials in order to reduce our carbon footprint and to ensure that our social impact extends to our supply chain.
